Michael Penn

Penn has been one of my favorites, ever since his introductory record, March. His records have a modern pop feel, laden with Beatle-esque hooks, an evocative voice and beautiful instrumentation.

He has a new album out called Mr. Hollywood, Jr. 1947, which I can highly recommend.
